Feddet is one of the best places in South Zealand for kitesurfing.

In westerly winds you can use the spot at Fedhavnen and surf in Præstø Fjord – in easterly winds you can surf from the stand in Faxe bay. At the harbor there is a small beach where you can start directly, a cozy environment as well as toilet and campfire hut. Here you can eat the packed lunch in shelter after a good trip on the water. The fjord around Feddet is very shallow – so the place is good for beginners.

To Kitesurf, you must bring your own equipment.

If you want to feel the adrenaline, hear the waves of the sea and feel the sun’s rays on your cheeks, then kitesurfing on Feddet with Kitekollektivet is the obvious option. As Feddet is located next to the low-lying Præstø Fjord, Feddet is the ideal place for kitesurfing.

At Kitekollektivet, private courses, partner, group and team tutoring are offered. So there is ample opportunity to assess how you prefer to start your trip on the water. Do you want a 1: 1 teaching for the first time or a fun day with a boyfriend or friend, where there is an opportunity to spar and share the experience, or should the whole group of friends go together? Our skilled instructors are ready to receive you and refine your techniques or help you get started with the sport for the first time. If you want an activity for the whole group of friends or your whole team, then activities are also offered for up to 10 people, where kitesurfing courses or SUP teaching or rental of SUP equipment can be arranged. Our skilled, certified instructors are ready to receive you and refine your techniques or help you get started in the sport for the first time. All you need to bring is good mood and swimwear.

Since Kitekollektivet was founded with an ambition to create a strong community on the Zealand beaches, you also have the opportunity to become a member, where there are benefits such as discounts on courses, the opportunity to participate in social events and become a member of the internal Facebook group with tips & tricks. Membership costs 500 DKK per year and includes a rashguard.

Why not combine sports and holidays? We offer several types of accommodation, so you can stay close to one of South Zealand’s best kitesurfing areas. You can bring your own caravan or motorhome or book yourself in one of our beautiful cabins or holiday homes.

If you are a larger group, you can e.g. be up to 8 people in our holiday homes.

The area around the site offers a wealth of good walking routes, and we also have one of Denmark’s best beaches just a stone’s throw from the site.

If you’re just a bit of a water dog, you can also frolic with other fun activities on the water. The area around us also invites to kayaking around the whole of Feddet or a good fishing trip with friends or family.

You can also just relax in your holiday cottage – maybe you have chosen one with a nice terrace or whirlpool? We have many luxurious accommodation options with room for more overnight stays.
