We are looking for a chef with management skills

Experienced chef wanted for Feddet Strand Resort – Seize the opportunity and let your love of food sprout at one of Denmark’s most beautiful locations!

Do you have a passion for food, a love of creating dining experiences and a dream of enchanting happy families on vacation? Then you might be our next chef to help us take our gastronomic level to new heights at Feddet Strand Resort.

If you dream of cooking good, healthy food based on seasonal ingredients for happy families – and you’re skilled, ambitious and sociable, then this might be just the job you’re looking for.

Your responsibilities include:

Daily management of the kitchen and restaurant as well as other eateries and catering.
Ordering, purchasing and inventory management.
Financial management and budget follow-up.
Creating menu plans and offers for parties.
Personnel responsibilities, including shift planning and employee training.
Self-monitoring.

Can you match these qualifications:

Professional training as a chef with relevant experience in the restaurant industry.
Drive, ambition and creativity.
Great passion for food and respect for good and fresh ingredients.
Experience with ordering, budgeting and costing.
Friendliness, service-mindedness and conscientiousness.
Management skills with the ability to effectively organize both your own and your employees’ work.
The ability to inspire and train your employees, including the young talent in the kitchen and restaurant.
You prioritize exceptional service to our guests.
You speak fluent Danish, and conversations in English and possibly German are no challenge for you.
You have a driver’s license.

Full-time position with competitive salary based on qualifications.
A mutual probation period of 3 months.
The right “hardware” in the kitchen and a newly renovated restaurant that already has many guests.
A job with “odd” working hours and long days during the campsite’s season, but with the possibility of time off in the off-season.
